All of us, every single man, woman, and child on the face of the Earth were born with the same unalienable rights; to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. And, if the governments of the world can't get that through their thick skulls, then, regime change will be necessary.

"In the past 12 days, some of the most consequential decisions in American history either by President Trump, or because of him ..."
The U.S. Steel deal between the iconic American company and Nippon Steel happened because of Trump’s ability to apply pressure through negotiations that sometimes bewildered everyone involved. But they led to the literal reversal of fortune of an industry, from the additional supply industries that include mechanics, construction workers, transportation systems such as railways, and energy.
The 50% tariffs Trump announced the day he visited the U.S. Steel plant in West Mifflin were also seen by American manufacturers as a signal that Trump was committed to revitalizing American steel mills. It also signaled an overall mandate to reshore manufacturing in the country.
While much of Wall Street warned that the tariffs would cause a widespread recession, a former critic of the tariffs, Torsten Sløk, chief economist at Apollo Global Management, did an about-face and wondered if Trump outsmarted everyone, laying out a scenario that keeps tariffs well below Trump’s most aggressive rates long enough to ease uncertainty.
That a steelworker or a welder working for a defense contractor would watch what happened to Iran’s nuclear program and feel a part of it is a nuance in American journalism that is often missed.
Sen. David McCormick (R-PA) told the Washington Examiner that it is an integrated story, both in terms of the consequences of those decisions, bolstering our economic capability, and our independence.
“But it’s a confidence in leadership story, too,” McCormick said.
McCormick, who took office in January after winning against an entrenched Democrat few thought he could defeat, said the nuance of how intertwined moments such as these are is often missed.
“These are reinforcing themes,” he said.
McCormick, who grew up in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania, argues that often the best of the best in the military come from the heartland, from working on the shop floors to defending the country. They understand that the planes might have been made by a member of their community or even their family.
“That is where the grit of the country lies,” McCormick said. “Of course, they see what they do as part of something bigger than self because often people don’t understand the vitality of their profession.”
McCormick, who served in the Army and was part of the 82nd Airborne Division deploying to Iraq during the Gulf War, was joined by Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) in praising Trump’s airstrikes.
McCormick said he talked to Trump about the historic strikes on Sunday.
“I just called him and just said, ‘Man, so when I put boots on the ground myself personally 30 years ago, I never imagined we’d have this kind of terrorist threat, the risk of a nuclear weapon, and this kind of leadership and competence,’” McCormick said.
The president told McCormick something profound about the people who were part of the operation.
“The president said, ‘Those young people are magnificent.’ And I said, ‘You know what, Mr. President, the thing about them is my heart swells when I see that kind of leadership with those 40 kids shooting the Patriots in Qatar,’” McCormick said of the soldiers fighting to intercept Iranian missiles that targeted the U.S. base at Al Udeid.
McCormick recalled that Trump said, “These are the best America has to offer, and every time I’ve interacted with them, that’s what I said.”
It is hard to dispute that Trump is a man of consequence following the U.S. strikes in Iran, the ceasefire struck only 12 days after the war began between Israel and Iran, and his brokering of a deal to increase defense contributions across NATO dramatically.
And this all happened in under two weeks, beginning with Trump signing the U.S. Steel deal on June 13 and continuing Friday morning with the Supreme Court ruling that individual judges lack the authority to grant nationwide injunctions. The latter was a breathtaking victory for Trump, who has been hampered by activist judges throwing up everything but the kitchen sink to try to curtail his agenda.
There is an old wisdom in political science that real presidential power, whether domestic or international, is the power of persuasion. In less than two weeks, Trump has shown that his impact on American history has centered on his persuasive powers and using them to execute leadership.
Trump Has 'Outsmarted All of Us' Admits Backpedaling Economist
A world-renowned economist has changed his tune on President Donald Trump's tariffs.Torsten Sløk, a chief economist at Apollo Global Management, posted a new note admitting that his initial reaction to the policy may have been wrong.'Maybe the administration has outsmarted all of us,' he wrote. The admission comes just months after Sløk warned the tariffs would be ‘painful’ and economically destabilizing.Experts speaking to DailyMail.com warned that Americans should take his note with a grain of salt. But now, he's framing the President’s policy as a clever long-game — one that invites global negotiation while increasing federal revenue.

Who Counts? Trump Poised To Try To Remove Noncitizens From Census
Following a years-long surge in illegal immigration, the Trump administration is poised to challenge a longstanding but legally fraught practice: counting illegal aliens in the U.S. census.
President Trump tried to end the practice during his first term, but President Biden overturned his predecessor’s policy before it was implemented. Now, buoyed by red state attorneys general and Republican legislators, the second Trump administration is determined “to clean up the census and make sure that illegal aliens are not counted,” White House Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy Stephen Miller said last month.
What Miller didn’t mention are the political implications of the administration’s move. It could have significant political implications because the census count is used to apportion House seats, determine the number of votes each state gets in the Electoral College for selecting the president, and drive the flow of trillions of dollars in government funds.
Some immigration researchers project that including noncitizens in the census count disproportionately benefits Democratic states with large illegal alien populations.
The Icarian Gene: The Rise and Fall of the Expert Class
The Icarian Gene: The Rise and Fall of the Expert Class
In his concurrence in United States v. Skrmetti, a case upholding Tennessee’s ban on adolescent transgender treatments, Thomas called for his colleagues to stand against an “expert class” that has dictated both policy and legal conclusions in the United States.
The reference to “experts” is often used to insulate an opinion as self-evidently true on a given question when they speak as a group. It distinguishes the informed from the casual; the certifiably authoritative from the merely interested. Yet, what constitutes an “expert” can be little more than an advanced degree, and the “overwhelming opinion of experts” can be little more than groupthink.
Thomas warned his colleagues that “[t]here are particularly good reasons to question the expert class here, as recent revelations suggest that leading voices in this area have relied on questionable evidence, and have allowed ideology to influence their medical guidance.”
Indeed, those “good reasons” have become increasingly obvious to those outside of the Beltway. The public saw experts line up during the pandemic to support mandatory uses of surgical masks, shutting down schools, and requiring the ruinous six-foot rule of separation. Many of these rules were later found lacking in scientific support. At the same time, dissenting experts, including the signatories of the Great Barrington Declaration, were blacklisted, censored, or fired for challenging these views.
We have seen the same orthodoxy on issues ranging from gender dysphoria to COVID measures.
Yes, this article was titled "The Icarian Gene", which I take to be a reference to Icarus.
Icarus, however, had a certain nobility to his efforts. He wanted to help mankind, by bring them the secrets and power of the gods. And for this he was punished.
The experts lacked all nobility, and they certainly did not want to help mankind. They wanted to make us subjects in the kingdoms of their own fear and inanity.
The experts are more like another "myth"; The Emperor's New Clothes."
No reasonable person was fooled by Transgenderism. And few of us who could do math, and had our brains engaged, could not walk past natural fears, to get around the corner and see the truth of the lie of COVID and it's bride, the vaccine.
Again Emperor's New Clothes.
The Experts were so proud of themselves in their regalia. They were positively giddy. And they attempted to force us all to praise them through compliance.
On the other hand, the reality of the destruction of the lives of children, and the deaths, and mutilations that resulted from the short-lived kingdom of the experts certainly required a better "myth" for comparison's sake.
Got any ideas?
Jill Biden's "Work Husband," the Aide Who Controlled The White House and Hid Joe Biden's Infirmity from the Public, Refuses to Testify to Congress
Top Biden aide Anthony Bernal is refusing to appear before a House Republican-led committee on Thursday to answer questions about the purported cover-up of the president's cognitive decline while in office.Bernal, known as first lady Jill Biden's "work husband" and a loyal member of the family's inner circle, flouted an invitation to sit for a transcribed interview with the House Oversight Committee after the Trump White House waived executive privilege for the testimony.
"With no privilege left to hide behind, Mr. Bernal is now running scared, desperate to bury the truth," said Oversight chairman James Comer (R-Ky.)
"The American people deserve answers and accountability, and the Oversight Committee will not tolerate this obstruction. I will promptly issue a subpoena to compel Anthony Bernal's testimony before the Committee."
Dr. Kevin O'Connor, who served as the former White House physician for Biden, has already been issued a subpoena to appear for testimony Friday.
Another top Biden aide, Neera Tanden, also attempted to dodge testimony.
She said she couldn't testify because of executive privilege. But executive privilege is invoked by the currently-serving president, not a past one. Trump requested that Biden invoke executive privilege to protect his own documents, but Biden repeatedly refused.
When Neera Tanden made the same request, you know that Trump enjoyed telling her to get stuffed.
Bernal's move comes after former White House Domestic Policy Council director Neera Tanden testified to the Oversight panel on Tuesday, without the shield of privilege covering her statements."After balancing the Legislative and Executive Branch interests, as required under the accommodation process, it is the President's view that this presents an exceptional situation in which the congressional need for information outweighs the Executive Branch's interest in maintaining confidentiality," wrote Gary Lawkowski, deputy White House counsel, in a Monday letter to Tanden.
Comer said Tanden revealed in her testimony that she controlled access to Biden's autopen -- despite having "minimal interaction" with the president -- and sent numerous "decision memos" to an "inner circle" of White House advisers for approval.
"Her testimony raises serious questions about who was really calling the shots in the Biden White House amid the President's obvious decline," the Oversight chairman thundered.
Tanden was one of the main operators of the presidential autopen. She admitted that while she affixed Biden's fake signature to pardons, she didn't know who had actually authorized these pardons.
In other words, it wasn't Biden. One of Biden's aides would tell her to activate President Autopen, and she ran hundreds of pardons through the Presidential Simulator.

Really, did Microsoft say so?
The tech giant didn’t reference the impact of tariffs specifically, but its updated support page cited changing “market conditions.”
Microsoft also attributes pricing changes to the “rising cost of development.”
The company also said that its recommended prices for new games will be $79.99 “starting this holiday season.

Crucial New Detail Emerges From Testimony in “Autopen” Scandal from Oversight Project
The Washington Examiner reported that Tanden was given authority to use the pen and "was responsibile for handling the flow of documents to and from the president."
Now, a crucial new detail has emerged regarding the closed-door testimony. According to an Oversight Project press release, Tanden would utilize the autopen without actually verifying from Biden himself that it was an authorized action. From the release:
"...she would send decision memos to Biden's inner circle with no visibility of approval between sending the memo and receiving it back. Tanden's testimony confirms that she affixed Biden's signature onto presidential documents without direct knowledge that Biden authorized the given action.

A top former aide to former President Joe Biden testified behind closed doors Tuesday for more than four hours as part of the House Oversight Committee’s investigation into his mental fitness to serve and his White House’s use of an autopen, confirming she was authorized to use the automatic signature device while pushing back on concerns about alleged manipulation or malfeasance.
Neera Tanden, who served as director of the White House Domestic Policy Council, explained in her opening remarks Tuesday that she was given authority to wield the autopen. She said she “was responsible for handling the flow of documents to and from the president” and was authorized to direct autopen use from October 2021 to May 2023 when she was serving as staff secretary and senior adviser to Biden.
Tanden confirmed that during her tenure as White House staff secretary, she oversaw the many documents coming to and from the president’s desk, and she noted that her role included authorization to direct autopen use.
“As staff secretary, I was responsible for handling the flow of documents to and from the president,” she said. “I was also authorized to direct that autopen signatures be affixed to certain categories of documents. We had a system for authorizing the use of the autopen that I inherited from prior administrations. We employed that system throughout my tenure as staff secretary.”
However, Tanden noted that she stopped overseeing autopen use after May 2023, when she became head of the Domestic Policy Council.
The Oversight Project previously pointed out that Neera Tanden was the White House Staff Secretary when Joe Biden autopenned pardons from a golf course in the US Virgin Islands.
Neera Tanden was a frequent mention in the leaked Podesta emails released by WikiLeaks.
Tanden was one of the most vocal Russiagate conspiracy theorists. She not only attacked Republicans while she was working for Hillary Clinton, but also went for the throats of Sen. Bernie Sanders and his supporters.

Fed officials are starting to break rank and join Trump
Fed Vice Chair for Supervision Michelle Bowman on Monday downplayed the potential impacts of Trump’s tariffs on prices and said the US central bank should swiftly lower rates to preserve the labor market’s health.
“It is time to consider adjusting the policy rate,” Bowman said. “Should inflation pressures remain contained, I would support lowering the policy rate as soon as our next meeting in order to bring it closer to its neutral setting and to sustain a healthy labor market.”
Bowman is the second Fed official to join Trump in calling for lower borrowing costs. On Friday, Fed Governor Christopher Waller said tariffs will likely only result in a “one-off” increase in inflation. Both Bowman and Waller are Trump appointees.
Other Fed officials aren’t quite joining Trump in calling for lower rates, but are signaling they’re warming up to the idea of it.

“85% of Americans say that they have had delays in health care because of prior authorization. The doctors hate it. It costs them 12 to 15 hours a week filling out forms.”
This is a MASSIVE win for… pic.twitter.com/hGEmWdPrZ5
In a press conference on Monday, HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and CMS Administrator Dr. Mehmet Oz announced a landmark agreement with the nation’s largest health insurers to tackle the number one healthcare problem plaguing hundreds of millions of Americans: prior authorization.
Prior authorization is the requirement for doctors and patients to get advance approval from insurance companies BEFORE certain treatments, tests, or procedures are covered. It was meant to control costs, but for 85% of Americans, it’s become a serious barrier to care.
“Doctors like myself are continually struggling with this issue,” Dr. Oz said, explaining how the bureaucratic process not only delays treatment but deeply frustrates both providers and patients.
In 2023 alone, Medicare Advantage (which covers about 32 million people) initially denied 3.2 million prior authorization requests. Dr. Oz made clear these are not just numbers: they represent “individuals who often, in the most vulnerable time in their lives, needed something done and it was denied.”
The burden also falls heavily on physicians. On average, doctors spend 12 hours per week on paperwork, handling about 40 prior authorization cases weekly. Dr. Oz said it contributes to burnout, slows down care, and “erodes public trust in the health care system.”
An HHS press release announced today that “health insurers pledged six key reforms aimed at cutting red tape, accelerating care decisions, and enhancing transparency for patients and providers.”
These changes aim to ensure that patients and their doctors no longer have to battle insurance companies just to access common treatments like imaging, outpatient surgery, or physical therapy.
• Standardize electronic prior authorization submissions using Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR®)-based application programming interfaces.
• Reduce the volume of medical services subject to prior authorization by January 1, 2026.
• Honor existing authorizations during insurance transitions to ensure continuity of care.
• Enhance transparency and communication around authorization decisions and appeals.
• Ensure medical professionals review all clinical denials.• Expand real-time responses to minimize delays in care with real-time approvals for most requests by 2027
